How to Stay in Good Shape or "Health Through Water" at Home (Part 1)

Dear, wonderful ladies, in this article we would like to share some useful tips on additional beauty and wellness care that you can enjoy in the comfort of your own home.

Are you on your feet all day? Not a moment of rest at work. Then, in the evening, you still need to pick up your child from kindergarten and prepare dinner. You are tired. All you want is to rest, relax, and release the tension. Stop! Why not do exactly that? In addition to the wonderful restorative and toning treatments we offer at our SPA salon, you can also take care of yourself at home!

Water truly has magical properties, providing a boost of energy and vitality. Combined with medicinal herbs and other natural ingredients, it can produce amazing results. From a relaxing bath to applying face and body masks, these treatments do not require expensive cosmetic products. Simply take a look in your refrigerator or bathroom cabinet—you will surely find something suitable.

Creating Your Own Home SPA

Creating the Right Atmosphere. The main idea is that everything should be beautiful. Place aromatic candles around the room. Dim the lights or switch them off completely. Treat yourself to a glass of your favorite drink, a bar of fine chocolate, some ice cream, or fresh strawberries. Complete the setting with soft, enchanting music that brings peace and tranquility to the atmosphere. Set the right mood, try to relax completely, distance yourself from everyday concerns, and forget about your problems for a while.

Bath Preparations. The simplest bath is an aromatic one with the addition of your favorite essential oil. It has a positive effect on the nervous system, helps relieve stress, and allows the body to eliminate accumulated toxins. However, remember that to achieve the best results, certain conditions should be met: the oil should be the one that suits you best, and the amount used should be appropriate for your needs.

For example, sensitive skin responds well to cypress oil (5–6 drops), oily skin benefits from rosemary oil (5 drops), and normal skin appreciates bergamot oil (6 drops).

For skin rejuvenation and improved elasticity, use rose oil (7 drops). To strengthen the skin’s natural protective functions, add pine needle oil (6 drops). To relieve fatigue, use ground ginger (1 tablespoon).

However, this is not the only option. It is even more beneficial to use natural ingredients, medicinal herbs, and other additives that help make the skin healthy and beautiful. There are countless recipes available. Nevertheless, try to find and create your own blend—the one that is perfect for you. Experiment, explore, and discover what works best. After all, you are a woman!
